We help local communities create Community Action Plans (CAP) for their community.

Each Action Plan contains a prioritised set of ideas and issues that the community has identified through engage HQ surveys and through engagement events.

The ideas and issues that are generated are then used to guide the community in compiling detailed action plans about the improvements the community wants to implement including what activities need to be done and by whom.

In our experience, we feel it’s important to talk to as many local community members as possible so everyone gets the opportunity to contribute to the development of priorities, not just comment on the final proposals.

The action plan should normally have a lifespan of 3 -5 years as agreed with the community. BDP will work with communities who would like to create a Community Action Plan or would like to update an existing Community Action Plan.
