We work with local communities to develop and sustain voluntary community groups. We offer services which keep these groups informed, supported and connected. We can take a group from an initial idea to gaining funding and employing staff.

Quality is the key to all our provision and we work in partnership with other organisations to give groups in Buchan the best.

Support is a mixture of services provided directly by us; by peer support through other community groups; partner agencies or by statutory agencies. Our services have been developed through listening to the needs of the community. Our approach is very much bottom up and based on the individual community’s needs and aspirations.

The Buchan Bulletin highlights local projects and offers information of interest to local groups. It can also publicise your events and community dates on the Community calendar.

Through Buchan Development Forums you can network with other similar groups and learn from others. We host four forums a year in different locations in Buchan.
